A wallet is more than a place to keep your cards — it's something you reach for every single day, often dozens of times. That's why we approach every wallet in our collection as a long-term companion rather than a fast-fashion accessory.
Every Di Pelle wallet is handcrafted in Egypt using full-grain genuine leather sourced from carefully chosen tanneries. Full-grain is the highest grade of leather available — it retains the natural surface of the hide, which means it develops a unique character (called patina) as you carry it, rather than wearing out or cracking like cheaper bonded materials.
Our collection is organized around how you actually carry your essentials:
How long does a Di Pelle wallet last?
With normal daily use, our wallets typically last 5–10 years and often longer. Full-grain leather actually becomes more beautiful with age — many customers tell us their wallet looks better at year three than it did on day one.
How should I care for my leather wallet?
Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight and moisture. Every few months, condition it with a small amount of neutral leather balm using a soft cloth. Avoid soaking it in water — if it gets wet, blot it dry and let it air-dry naturally.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes — every Di Pelle wallet ships in our signature cotton dust bag inside a recycled-card gift box, ready to give without extra cost.
What is full-grain leather?
Full-grain leather is the top layer of the hide, with its natural surface preserved. It is the strongest, most durable, and most beautiful grade of leather — the only kind we use at Di Pelle.
